I get better mileage with a single batch fire system. Firing the injectors twice as often makes for slightly better atomization.
And the difference is so slight as to not be a real concern. Mileage is about finding your engine's sweet spot, and not having mush fun with that right foot pedal.

I doubt that you wopuld see much diference in gas mileage. Certainly not enough to cover the additional cost of the SEFI unit. I may be mistaken, but I believe the 6 cylinder FAST fires the injectors every 720 degrees even on the B2B model.
