fuel filter thread size

Anyone know what it is? 12x1.5? These metric conversions give me headaches. Please, no guessing. I want to use a stock filter with an AN line using a fitting rom Earls, and I can't seem to find what size the threads are. AN PLUMBING.COM Earls performance products, Hose ends Hose,Adapters, fittings

running stock saginaw fittings with AN is a waste of good and $$$ hose

summit sells cheap (compared to the aeromotive) AN filters so you can maintain the hose diameter through the entire run rather than neck it down to under 1/4" as it does with the saginaw fittings,

I'm building a fuel supply for a hybrid, and while it may neck down as you say, the line starts and ends with the same saginaw fitting. The pump hanger has a male end, and the stock fuel line that feeds the fuel rail has a female end. I elected to use a stock filter thinking that one would be available anywhere should the need arise.

What abour the return side? There's a saginaw fitting under the engine Ahead of the crossmember that connects the line from the fuel rail to the hard line back to the tank. I'm guessing 14x1.5, but don't know for sure.

I checked out that piece you welded up, but that's different than what I need. I need male to male. I want to screw the fitting into the stock return line under the engine, then attatch a -6 to that which I will connect to the original fuel line. Alternatly, I have a new hard line for the return line, but it's Regal specific. I can probably make it work, or maybe cut that fitting off of it to weld to a -6 male like you did (except I can't weld).
