I want to put a permanent mount fuel pressure guage on.I'm thinking of putting it in the cowl area.Any suggestions?I dont want to mount on hood.Has anyone done this?Pics? Thanks

Where in the cowl area?

External gauges for the street are just plain dumb, OEM hood mounted tachs excepted...

I have an Autometer in car gauge on salvageV6 that I installed in 1994.

Works fine with the new isolator they came out with in 2001.

In car fuel pressure gauges need an isolator in line so water only with anti-freeze makes the reading on the gauge not fuel, the fuel stays in the line under the hood.

Won't be putting one on the GN however too much work. ;)

i have a kenne bell hood mount gauge. you only have to drill 2 small holes in the bottom of the hood structure. looks good and it is easy to remove and return to stock with little work.

I just bought an isolator and installed the gauge in a console pod. very simple. Isolator is a little tricky, just read the directions.
