Hello. Now that I have time to drive this thing all sorts of mechanical questions now. Been running fine and today I went to start the car about an hour after running fine and I had a no start. It cranked but didnt turn over. The fuel pump was making its normal noise with ignition in the on position. When I checked my Fuel pressure at the schrader valve it was below 20 psi. Typically it didnt move from its 42 psi its set at when off. I cranked up the fuel pressure to 55 psi and it turned over right away. I reset the FP back to 42 psi and its been fine the rest of the day. I have a new AFP Regularor and new injectors. What could have caused this? Filter? Thanks

To honest I have no idea. Car was consigned and there were not to many details on those specifics. Any way I can check without pulling the tanks?

You might have 55psi but not alot of volume. Dont go boosting till this is figuired out. If you have a pressure tester with a pressure relief, put hose from the pressure relief hose into a 20oz pop bottle. It should fill that bottle in about 15 to 20 seconds. That is what a stock pump should put out. This test will vary from car to car.If you hit the pressure relief and car stumbles or dies out the pump is probably the problem unless the pulsator o-ring blew out. Do you have a scanmaster or anyway of looking at fuel trims?

If the pump is OK. There are really two sensors involved in the start up. Cam sensor and crank sensor. They could be flaking out.
Here is a one stop shop of almost everything you ever needed to know about your car. Including on what to do in case of a "No start"

Bad weather day in Detroit so didnt check anything today other than it started fine and the pressure still read 42. I do not have a scan master but am scheduling to take the car in ASAP to our local GN specialist for a tune so he should be able to figure this out. I have the boost on the actuator at the lowest setting. Had the car in for a 4 month resto and the engine compartment had a ton of dust in it, could this have fouled out the cam sensor or any filters. I do know my MAF was fine when I took it in and it was fried when I got the car back. Thanks
