Fuel pressure question vac on vs. off

The car is running pretty rich so I checked fuel pressure and noticed with the vac line on pressure was ~48 or so. So I think good problem solved, but when I pull the vac line off pressure is ~58...WTF?? Should there be such a large gap in pressures?

I think the gap is about right but pressure should be set with line off. About 43lbs line off.

How's it going Evan.

Most TR's should run around 18-20 inches of Mercury vac at idle. It's about 2 inches of mercury per psi so yea you're about right.

Set the pressure line off 43 PSI is what Eric recommends.
