I know this is an age-old question that's been talked about for many moons. I have always been taught that 43psi With the vacuum line off is where it's at. That's what i've always set my fuel regulator pressure to. I installed my new deatchwerks fuel pump255lph ,my injectors are 42 lb. My regulator and gauge are racetronix . The gauge is a fuel rail gauge. I have spoke to a few old timers in the turbo buick community that says 45psi with vacuum line off won't hurt anything and might be better, fat and happy. However i'm a firm believer of doing it the right way and making sure everything is how it should be. What are you guys suggesting on pressures?

Usually the chip manufacturer will specify what fuel pressure the chip is burned for.
Grated the computer will compensate for some fuel pressure variances, but the blm’s will be off.

In the olden days, when larger injectors weren’t available guys would run crazy high fuel pressure to get the flow out of injectors that were too small.
Fuel pumps had to be large enough to supply enough fuel flow at extreme pressures as well.

That's a really good point I should call eric at TT he's the one that burned the chip for me.

start at 43psi (note not all gauges are accurate especially rail mounted gauges should not be taken as gospel)
if after driving your idle BLM # is high or low on scanmaster you can make a pressure adjustment based on that
Awesome, thanks! At 43, my blm idle has stayed at 128 after a few drives. Sound about right?
