Hey guys, just a quick question about my fuel pressure. What should it be set at at idle. I dont have a scan master and the only mods are THDP and ATR 2.5" exhaust. I also have an adjustable wastegate. I have been having a problem with it cutting out at WOT so I bought a an adjustable fuel regualtor. What is the best route to go since I do not have a Scanmaster? Thanks -----Jeremy

What chip are you running? if its stock you should probably leave the fuel pressure stock unless you are upping boost.

Most chips call for around 43 psi at idle with line off.

If its cutting out at open throttle u might need to check the gap on your plugs, or could be your coil pack or ign. module going out.

get a scan tool on your car before you end up breaking something i.e. headgasket.

I wouldn't even attempt to up the boost or adjust anything on a turbo buick without a scan tool. Get one.

I have a stock chip. Do you think I didn't set the wastegate correctly? I was supposed to set the length the same as the stock and then turn it down 3 turns. This is what Johns Performance told me but I can tell that after the THDP was put on, the car seems to pull a lot harder. If it is cutting out at WOT, most of the time, it is a coil or ignition problem? I did replace the plugs before I did all the work to it this winter and it didn't have the problem with the stock exhaust and wastegate. What gap do you usually set your plugs at? I think I set mine at .35. Thanks ----Jeremy
