Ok so I was at the track yesterday.

Made a couple of passes, didn't set the world on fire.

Anyway, I got in my car to make my 4th pass and it wouldn't start...Cranked fine but no fuel pressure...Checked the fuses all good, tapped on the relays no help...Jumpered the test wire behind the Alt. and the pump ran...Unhooked the jumper and the car now starts and runs fine...I drove it home cuz I was scared it would do it again.

Now I'm scared to drive it or make passes in it.

Any help would be great, Thanks guys.

The fuel pump relay is bad or the ECM isn't sending a signal to the fuel pump relay to energize.

That test wire by-passes the relay and the ecm.

Well the relay is cheap and easy to replace, but now that it runs how would you go about troubleshooting the ECM option??

Your problem being caused by ECM itself is very unlikely (conn. possibly?). Just replace the relay & carry your FP jumper wire as emergency/backup.
