just checking...this got tagged on another thread so I wanted to isolate it and get some input.
I wouldn't be wasting my time this weekend if I drop the tank if the following is the problem:
fuel psi drops to 5psi or less immediately (i.e. 1 second) after keying the car off. I've swapped regulators and new/used (but known to be good) injectors and nothing changes. No stumbling when starting...fires right off without smoke so I can't see how it's an injector leaking down.
after hard acceleration or a steep incline fuel comes out of the vent line into the canister. I disconnected the line to the canister and it just comes out the line now. ONce you kill the car you can hear pressure and fuel gurgling coming up the vent line...if you go back and crack the gas cap...the noise from the vent stops...as I figure it should.
So I'm checking for the fuel line connection to the pump and what else?
