fuel pump hanger mods

anyone ever cut off the necked down area above the fuel pump?

Yep.....everytime I install a new pump.

Do you get any better fuel flow, or higher fuel pressure from this, and do you have any problems with rich idle, or anything else? And do you cut the whole constriction off, or just the tip end?

just the tip where it necks down. it will help in flow i belive but how much who knows. Do it you wont see any issues

Based on the info in your signature, NO.....you will not see a performance gain. If replacing the pump, do it anyway, as there is no down side to it.
