Just had heads off the car,all back together, never ran so good.
10 min into the drive POOF car dies-no stumble.
Trailer it home-hmm no fuel pressure in the rail.
I bypassed my hotwire kit[after checking fuse in kit]-and went back to the fact plug at tank.still no fuel
When I jump that gray wire behind alternator pump comes alive-car starts-ok not the end of the world
Now that "gray" wire, the plastic end was tore off[guess during the head gasket job]and it was bare.
if that grounded out-could that pop a fuse or damage the relay[as of this writing I still dont know if its just a fuse or what]
I guess I wanna hear someone say-"Hey Dont Ground that gray wire-It will pop a fuse"

K turns out it was the fuse top left-said "inj" on it-I believe that powers pump as well.
So there's today's lesson, keep that wire away from a ground!!

Checking a wiring diagram that fuse does power both the injectors and the fuel pump. That is why the engine shut off so quickly, the injectors also stopped firing.
