Hey Guys,
Im doing some head and roller cam work on the GN, finally. Wanted to upgrade my injectors, currently running 42.5# injectors. I have a Walbro 255 in the tank and was wondering if that fuel pump would support 80# injectors at 25-28 PSI?

1 Gallon = 3.785 liters
255 LPH Fuel Pump divided by 3.785 Lieters = 67.31 gallons

Now How do i add a conversion or factor in the 80# injectors and 25-28 PSI

Will my Walbro 255 work with these 80# injectors or will have to upgrade the pump too???

There is more than a few variables at play as the fuel pump flows diferently at didn't pressures.

You need to consider your base vs actual fuel pressure...if your base fuel pressure is 43.5, then at 25psi, the fuel pressure is 78.5 - then go find a chart that shows the 255 lph pump output at this pressure. but then you're still not done.

how much HP are you trying to push at 25psi? psi is just a figure and isn't an indicator of power by itself.

Putting all of this aside, looking at your combo, you may want to consider 60lb injectors unless you plan on a bigger turbo later on. 60lbers can get you to mid 10's, then you'll need more for faster.

Awesome...so i can run the 80# but in the future when i upgrade my turbo i will need to upgrade the fp...

Only reason i wana make the change is because my 42# were running at 95% duty cycle...so im good for the time being...thanks guys
