What is the purpose of this thing called a "pulsator" inline with the stock pump in the tank? I see according to the instructions that came with my kit some cars have them and some don't.....
Earlier cars were "batch fire" and not Sequential fuel injection, meaning all the injectors fired at once. The pulsator was to absorb some of the "water hammer" effect this would cause.
