i use an oring m16x 1.5 - 1/2" jic 37 fitting from discounthydraulichose.com
i trim off about two threads with a grinder and then drill it out so it is as large as the fuel rail opening ,

Forget those alumium AN fittings, go JIC. Can get JIC fitting in brass, steel and SS at a huge savings, even paying for shipping. Who cares if it's blue.
Pronto, you mentioned one can get JIC fittings in SS, which is what I would like to use, but I can't seem to find one with the M16x1.6 thread on the other end.

and be done with it...no "reducing" down to restrict flow. All of the others I've seen neck down where the O-ring goes, it may or may not restrict but I didn't want to take the chance. I LOOKS like a saginaw end. This one has max flow and worked for me..,my $.02
