I need to purrchase a new fuel sock for my Walbro 307 pump. I have a feeling that when the car is under full boost, the pump is sucking the sock nearly closed and starving my car for fuel.

Does anyone know where I can purchase JUST A NEW SOCK and not a brand new $150 pump to get the sock out of it.

Thanks for your responses

M+M Motorsports has an install kit.

Not too pricey and give ya a new sock.

I was able to find a match for my 340 at Carquest. It came off of a 97-99 GM truck. You should be able to get it from any parts store.

The pump pumps the same amount whether at idle or WOT. Is your car leaning out?

Problem

Yes my car is leaning out. In the burnout box the direct scan reads bout 800-900 02 volts. Then when I take off the car slowly begins to lean out and by the end of the run the car is at about 450-500 O2. This is just an assumption that the fuel sock is plugging the fuel pump and not allowing adequate fuel to get to the fuel rail when the boost goes up and the pressure regulator calls for more fuel.

Thus if the fuel aint there, you aint gonna have any to burn. This was proven last time I was at the track when I backed off on boost and went up 3 lbs on the regulator and the car still leaned out.

any ideas? Thanks

Your pump/sock/filter probably is the cause. I was just stating that if it's sucking the sock shut at WOT it's sucking it shut at idle too. The FPR calls for more pressure, not volume.
