I was curious on what type of different style fuel set-ups some of the faster members are running. Because I am about to upgrade and am interested in known working combinations.

I am wanting to change my fuel tank and add a sump. And want to run a -10 supply to a pre-pump filter. then add either a good hp single or a set of good dual parallel external pumps. They have to be able to handle contious running because I like to drive it too. Then either -8 or-10 to the fuel rail. Then a -6 return to the tank. Not sure on type of regulator yet.

Any help or thoughts will be appreciated.

Steve:)

BTW this is for the street car.

How fast are you looking to go? The XP Plus double pumper is alot less money & work. These pumps can suport as much as 1000hp.

Absolutely. I have Red's [XP] Double Pumper, as do most of us in this area. I can't tell you how many 9 and 10 second cars are running this setup. $499, and nothing else to buy. Easy setup. (440) 235-3232.

Fuel Pumps

Hi Bruce,
As for how fast I want my car to go it will be 9 sec capable. I have 84# delphi injectors and they are running at about 85% DC but the horse power is not there for the fuel I'm supposedly burning and it's not running rich. I currently have a double pumper which might be getting weak. But I know that it can't hurt to have larger lines to make more volume available.

And I know people who have ran Weldon,Aeromotive,or SX pumps but I am trying to get a feel for what seems to be a good street/strip combination that won't fail while driving around town or in traffic. I know that of weldon upper end pumps are not continous duty which would suck is I had to drive it for a long distance or get stuck in traffic.

And my street car combination is in my signature. just trying to get a feel before I do it next month or so.

Steve ;)
