I was curious on what type of different style fuel set-ups some of the faster members are running. Because I am about to upgrade and am interested in known working combinations.

I am wanting to change my fuel tank and add a sump. And want to run a -10 supply to a pre-pump filter. then add either a good hp single or a set of good dual parallel external pumps. They have to be able to handle contious running because I like to drive it too. Then either -8 or-10 to the fuel rail. Then a -6 return to the tank. Not sure on type of regulator yet.

Any help or thoughts will be appreciated.

How fast are you looking to go? The XP Plus double pumper is alot less money & work. These pumps can suport as much as 1000hp.

Absolutely. I have Red's [XP] Double Pumper, as do most of us in this area. I can't tell you how many 9 and 10 second cars are running this setup. $499, and nothing else to buy. Easy setup. (440) 235-3232.
 
Fuel Pumps

Hi Bruce,
As for how fast I want my car to go it will be 9 sec capable. I have 84# delphi injectors and they are running at about 85% DC but the horse power is not there for the fuel I'm supposedly burning and it's not running rich. I currently have a double pumper which might be getting weak. But I know that it can't hurt to have larger lines to make more volume available.

And I know people who have ran Weldon,Aeromotive,or SX pumps but I am trying to get a feel for what seems to be a good street/strip combination that won't fail while driving around town or in traffic. I know that of weldon upper end pumps are not continous duty which would suck is I had to drive it for a long distance or get stuck in traffic.

And my street car combination is in my signature. just trying to get a feel before I do it next month or so.
