Valve cover gaskets, felpro viton valve seals or new stockers, cleaning stuff for the covers and the pushrods, magnet on a stick to find any missing keepers, rags to cover the drain holes and header area so you don't lose any keepers, valve spring tool, and air hose tool with spark plug fitting to keep the valves up, and the search feature available on this site for any additional information. ;)

thanks for the replies guys. i got the air hose tool for the spark plug fitting but i almost forgot about the gaskets hehe good thing i asked. you guys notice any performance gain from changing out the valve springs??

I much prefer the 'rope trick' to hold the valves up, as opposed to compressed air... less chance for disaster.... you end up having to wiggle around on the retainers to get the keepers loose and while you do that, the valve moves up and down a bit and lets air leak.... with the rope trick, the valve is firmly held up, with zero chance of dropping.... just my experience and opinion.... see the posts midway down this thread...

X2.... very good advice. The rope trick is slick, and fail safe.

Personally I like PAC racing's springs. Made in the USA and all in house too. They stand behind thier product.
