Has anyone else had problems ordering from Full Throttle. I go to there website and no matter how I do it, all the stuff in my cart keeps dissapearing and even if I log in it eventually goes to "guest" I tried saving my cart and everything. Using the back button lets you add more **** but if you go to a different place (ie suspension to engine) it empties your cart and puts you back in as guest? This is pretty fustrating and I feel like just buying from a different place that doesnt make buying such a hassle...... an I can call them cause they are closed, besides I have horrible phone service so I dont want to be on the phone and they be like "what was that?"

F.t.

I tried their on-line ordering and it don't work. I did mention it to them. I have bought a bunch of stuff from them but I do it by phone.

I just used it the other day , no problem . But it is not showing if it has been shipped yet .

I ordered some stuff form them last summer and I remember having issues with the web site too, pretty sure I ended up just calling them and placing it over the phone.

Yes, I noticed it would only allow me to put one item in the cart.......so, I ordered from elsewhere.

The one thing that can mess up on-line ordering is not having cookies enabled for that site. On some sites need to enable all or several domains for cookies as they use a different domain name between the cart and the main site.

If it ins't a cookie setting issue with your browser, then hopefully they see this thread.

Never had a problem. I've bought a few things from them as of late.

Ya, just make sure you have cookies enabled for sights you'd like to order from. Or....heavan forbid, pick up the phone.

Well like I said from the beginning me cell phone isn't that great from home and since at work I am flat rate, I don't feel like wasting time/money on the phone for like an hr trying to order parts. Instead, how bout they fix the website like it supposed to work so we can order parts whenever. If not, whats the purpose of there online store? Or have instructions on how to fix your setup to work with there sight? I'm looking at other sights and if they have the same parts I'll just go through them, pretty sure I'm not the only one having problems. Hope they fix it though! Mike is a good dude.

I've purchased a lot from them with never a problem. Although most of the time I only purchased one item at a time. Believe me, they want your order. If there is a problem they will fix it.

This is the very same problem people have had with my site. Some people have there cookies set correctly to order from websites and some don't!
For the ones of you having difficulties ordering YOU must lower your security level in your cookies to allow you to order!!!

I lowered mine A LONG TIME AGO and have never had a problem ever since! It's rather simple!

If not, (like dave said) you can always pick up the phone!

Okay, so I turned off all my security, my cookie settings, and Im pretty much unprotected right now..... and it still doesnt work! As soon as I login and go to the store front, Im back as a guest. WTF?! And if someone else recommends me "calling" well give my a good number I can call right now since Im trying to order the stuff right now and Ill gladly call them. Ive bought many things from Mike and he has good customer service but Im trying to order parts right now, not tomorrow. It wont ship till they are open but I would like to put the ball in their court not mine. Anyone have step by step instructions to "adapt" my computer to order my stuff?

Whats wrong with buying stuff as a guest? I just went on there and purchased something small, as a guest and it worked just fine.

As a guest I can buy 1 or 2 items. As a customer loggin in I could buy one or two items. the thing is I want to buy around 8 items and it doesnt matter if Im logged in first or if I am a guest, if I change from say the engine section to the suspension section to buy the rest of the stuff, it clears my shopping cart and it puts me back as a guest with 0 items and $0. I would like to get a ordered going with a total and not have to type in my credit card info like 5 times. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

anyone else have this problem? try putting more than i thing in your cart from different sections and see if it works

Ok I just tried it for sh!tz n giggles and it doesn't work me either, so I know my1stgn isn't crazy.;) Even when I logged in and added an item to my shopping cart, if I added another item to my shopping cart, it would log me out and zero out my cart. Never had a problem with their website before. Cookies and security level was the same as before (I use firefox). Screw it, just call them!

I'm guessing that even though you have reduced security (didn't have to go completely off) you must have a setting in there somewhere that is deleting cookies either when leaving the internet or restarting the computer or something like. I'm no guru, but one of my work computers had that setting and caused all sorts of problems.

We have got many orders recently and over the holiday with multiple items in them. This sounds like some sort of cookie issue, I will have a look and see if I can duplicate it. I know it works from my home computer. Thanks for the heads up.

Try different browsers to test it, I just went in with Firefox under linux with a fairly liberal security setup (just ain't too many spyware or virus worries on Centos thankfully) and I put 3 items in a cart (not logged in) added a 4th and found it was the only item now.

It's almost like the cookie is expiring if it didn't set the cookie at all seems like I wouldn't get but one part in but I got 3 in then #4 went in by itself with 1 thru 3 no longer in the cart.

Also every time I load the "Alky Kits" from THIS url when I click "Continue Shopping":
Code:
http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/items~Cc~BUALKY~iTpStatus~0~Tp~~Bc~.htm
my cart resets. Add 1 item, open the alky kits section, 0 items in cart, every time I've tried it so far.

If I click Buick Turbo V6 Performance and then Alky Kits from the left hand panel, no cart reset.

Code:
http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/items~CartId~%7BEVEREST0FA16264-B329-4A54-8454-2DE4030729C4%7D~Cc~BUALKY~iTpStatus~0~Tp~~Bc~.htm

Notice how the urls are different? THere's no CartId on the Alky link in the center of the page when you "Continue Shopping" looks like since that CartId isn't passed in the url, a new cart gets started.

That wouldn't be a cookie issue I don't think, looks more like a variable you need doesn't exist on the center frame when you "Continue Shopping" that DOES exist on the left hand menu when you click through there. Yep hovering over the links in the main body after you "Continue Shopping" none of them show a CartId but the ones along the left menu show the CartId.

I also notice on the center body the "main" sections HAVE the CartId just not the sub links, like if you click All MAF Translators and Scanmasters you have a cartid in that url, but if you click MAF Translators under that it has no CartId

Hopefully that helps get the problem found :)
