Not condoning what I did tonite but every once in a while you just tend to get carried away. Coming back from a cruise at Ocean Beach Park in New London CT and after following my friend cruising in his Plymouth Prowler at 45 mph for what seemed like forever we went our separate ways and I headed on to I-95 towards home. Pretty much going my usual 10 mph over the speed limit when I see headlights coming up fast on me. Pulled over to let him go and see that it was a newer red Mustang GT. Decided to play a little and when he saw me coming he got on it to, this was at about a 85 mph roll. Ended up burying him and I let off after he knew he was just shown what a TR can do.

Boost was at 25 lbs when I let off and the alky was doing it's job as I only had .9 degrees of knock and that was at 116. Top mph of this little run was 126! O2 reading on the scanmaster was .746! Was I pushing things a bit with that O2 reading even if I wasn't getting any knock?

Car was running awesome and had plenty more in it but that was enough for me
on a public road. Being 49 you start thinking about what would happen if I got caught so I got that out of my system for a while any way.

Got off my exit and the Mustang followed me and I got the classic "what do you have in that thing?" I told them to follow me to Dunkin donuts and I will show you. They couldn't believe that had just got whupped by a little V-6 and now have something to tell their friends. :D

LOL.......Well, once in a while we can't help ourselves....just have to cut loose and put a person/car in their place. Just be glad there wasn't a fuzz sitting around with nothing to do....that would have been ugly.... :o

BTW......Got home yesterday and unwrapped the maf pipe.... It looks very nice, but dammit that thing is huge....hard to believe the turbo inlet is gonna be even bigger than the pipe.....it's got me wondering wth did I step off into...lol. I'll know today when the turbo gets here.

Yeah, every once in a while its great to have someone start crap with you on the road and then the GN finish them off!
BTW, my 3" uppipe after I put the steel wool to it to match the rest of my steel wooled aluminum parts looks great....and the wheel caps fit right on the Torque Thrust-D center caps perfectly, remember you had questioned the size of them for the ARE center caps, but there is clearly 2 types of caps they put on the ARE wheels that have a slightly different flat area on top since they gave me one that was slightly different than the other 3 I had.
