Won't have the car back together in time. I was up at the track tonight and 5 funnies were already at the track making tuning runs. 4.6s and 4.7s @ 145 to 155 mph in the 1/8. The latest number I hear is 14 funnies will be there tomorrow. Racing starts at 5:00 pm.

These are methanol burners. No nitro.

You guys missed a fantastic showing. 12 funnies running on a 4.70 index. It was amazing how often they could come to within .05 of the target. Lots of 4.73s and 4.75s. The final round occurred between 1:30 and 2:00am.

Anyone that argues that Barona has no traction is a fool. CIFCA (California Indepenent Funny Car Association) was impressed with the track and is planning to add more events to Barona's calendar.
