G body part swapping...

I have an 83 Malibu... I've heard most g body stuff swaps... but now I'm hearing that not all hoods are the same? Anyone have input on this?

A Malibu hood only fits a 78-83 Malibu or a 78-87 ElCamino.

Thirdly: Just buy the right freaking hood!

If you're looking at cowl induction hoods than they are available for almost any G-body. The only turbo hood I've ever seen is the TR one. It will bolt on a MC and even a Malibu but the front edge wont fit against the headlamp mounting panel.

Or you could just graft the hood buldge onto the Malibu hood. I have an extra hood buldge if you need one! Pm me
