I know this isn't the kill section, but I digress...
I noticed an 08-09 G8 GXP behind me on the way to work. This road has alternating dual lanes for passing and the G8 got on my bumper while I was in the single lane, so I sped up above the speed limit and he rode my bumper the entire time, so it was clear he wanted some action.
I knew the lane was going to split about a mile down the road, so I slowed back down to around the speed limit of 65mph and then down to about 60 right before the lane split to a dual lane passing zone.
I saw him slowly start to pull around, and then he punched it, so he had a little bit of momentum on me. I put the pedal to the floor and ran the car up to about 100 and locked the converter, man, I'll say this, the billet 6765 with the large .85 a/r hot-side has drastically more top-end power than my old CPT66! I know that roll racing isn't exactly a turbo buick's strong point, but after I locked the converter it was all over but the crying for the G8. LOL. I was walking away pretty strongly after locking the converter. I lifted after I could see the GXP in the rear view mirror (probably around 3 cars back or so) I think I was between 120-130 mph when I lifted, but I'm not exactly sure.
I'm not going to lie though, those things have an LS3 and they are no joke from a roll. I walked away from that car handily, but I walked, didn't run, away. I looked on the internet earlier and those things trap around 109-110 in the 1/4 mile bone-stock.
