I will take $100 on the new owner  Mr Gallina is just an inspiration to still be playing with cars at that level in his 70's.I remember him best for having the FIRST superstock legal 7 second car,man that got alot of feathers ruffled in the V8 ranks back then.Good luck and all the best, hell I am just glad it will have a little six banger between the rails:D

Kevin

Thanks man!

God willing, we are going to give it our best shot! I think we have a great team lined up plus Mr. Gallina and Mr. Duttwieller have both said they would give us any help they could.... I am not going to dare say we will be faster, as they have achieved GREAT and historic things with this car. I would just love to run a 6.9? to finally reach my dream of many years....

Man, this is gonna be cool....good luck Shane, jay and guys.

Well if it was me;) I would get a pic of that car and make it poster size(20 x 16).Then have it autographed by Mr. Duttweiler and Mr. Gallina and sell them:cool:How you share the profits is your bussiness,BUT I want 2 of them at a discounted rate:D This is history and when I am old and grey(er) I would like them in my old age homeo_O

Kevin

Shane like Scot said just wrap the car, then you could do whatever you like. If you dont like it the the kids have at it peeling all the vinyl off and start again

I'm pretty sure that's Kenny's old car, not this one.

Better yet, maybe Shane could invite John to the TB.com event in May, and you could take a picture there and have it personally autographed by John then Kevin! :D

If I was an artist I would like to develop a wrap that would incorporate the history of the car plus all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears that went into our first car... I have this vision of something like "layers" coming off from the front to the back with a progression from old to new... With the new incorporating a "turbobuick.com" theme... Anybody follow that at all? LOL:p I can't draw a lick or I would give it a shot on paper and see if someone could digitize it....

Congrats Shane! Certainly a historical car, I have to agree though with leaving the current paint scheme. It has way to much history.

Speaking of red, we need to swap that red T/A for that black GN:D

So.... Shane, what's going on with your old car? Did you sell it? Phil.

This is a pic form GS Nats this year. Kenny has the best tool in his hand LOL
