Why not some big rem rug/carpet sections?

I like to use bathroom throw rugs because thay have grips on the back.
I also can shakem out & sweep the cement floor.

I did Sherwin Williams floor coating & could not be happier. I also did a rough broom finish floor. I will tell you the problem is it is a bitch to keep clean!!! my floor coating has been down for 7 years now, it is about time to re do it.

Steve

I did the floor coating paint myself here is a few pics of it after it has cured for several hrs and put some of the light stuff back in the garage. i will put the sy and gn back in tomorrow evening.

looks good Patrick. what product did you decide to use?

I used the porch and floor pro plastic stuff from wal-mart. the stuff was like 16 bucks a gallon. It's made for high traffic area's and can be used on cement, brick floors. it looks a 1000 times better than the old stained floor. it has 2 coats down that took about 2 hours to put down.

I did mine using Rustoleum Epoxyshield...got it at Home Depot...the pics are right after I did it...about 4 years ago...still looks pretty good today...few stains here and there..basically grease/dirt that has been ground in but any type of spilled fluid is wiped up easily...

I hope that stuff is designed to handle hot tire pickup. You will soon know......

tomorrow will tell the tell. i just put the sy back in the garage after driving it back from a 40 mile trip! The buick has been sitting out all day so i will see if a hot tire vs a cold tire makes it peel up!

Update

I put the sy backin last nite after a good 45 mile road trip and i didn't drive the gn all day so i get to see how it's gonna react to both set of tires.

Well i moved both the gn and the sy out of the garage this evening and the only thing i noticed was a small dark spots under where the tires were sitting but it didn't pull up the finish. i dunno if the floor has cured completely or not. I did letthe floor sit for 24hrs before i pulled the gn and the sy on it.

well only time will tell............
