I purchased a digital dash cluster from Gary86 almost 3 weeks ago. I contacted him about a week later to follow up on the part and Gary86 said he shipped it. To this day I still have not received it. I emailed, called, texted and pm'd Gary86 and can't get a hold of him. I contacted another board member that purchased an item from this guy and he also has not received his part yet. The other member was told by Gary86 that the part was shipped but was returned because he messed up the address. Please be aware if you plan on buying anything from this guy.

I sent a message the day before yesterday asking if he reshipped and havent heard back.
I guess I'll give it a couple more days and start the dispute thing with paypal.

I hope he is not related to Justin Guinn or your *$^%#$. Sorry Man I hope it works out.

I finally got a hold of this guy through text messaging and this is what he said "Hey sorry I am at work. I have finally received the cluster back from USPS. It turned out to be a problem with address. I'll refund or send it again. Your choice. I hate it when stuff like this happens. I'm usually very good on communication". Seems like a load of crap to me. I told him I wanted my money refunded but haven't received it or heard back from him since then. I did open up a dispute with paypal so hopefully I get my money back one way or another

must be having some really bad luck trying to ship his packages.
here is the pm I was sent a few days back.
and no reply to my pm from the other day yet.

Hey man. I sent the lid but it came back to me. I wrote address wrong. If you are tires of waiting I can refund you. I'm sorry for the delay. I will fix it and get it back out

He's probably playing with time so at certain amount of days Paypal . wouldnt do anything for you guys

I emailed him about his"NOS" grill last month when he had parts for sale.
I held off buying because he just joined our site in August and
only had about 10 posts total. It seems like these guys come on
here just to swindle us out of money, and then they are gone!

I should've used the same wisdom as you dart340.
this is the second time this year I've made a poor decision regarding a transaction.
as much as I'm a fan of the term "you can't fix stupid"....it sucks when its applying to me

All of us have been burned at one time or another Aaron. You're a pilot which means you've got something upstairs, unlike some of the guys on here.;)

tb3, I've been burned before buying on other sites from guys with a low post
number. Are you Aaron? I've been waiting to clear up some things over here
but I want to get into flying after I sell one of my houses. I almost think I
could fly a helicopter if someone through me in one! ttyl

flying a helicopter is a whole different ball game than flying a fixed wing air craft, and in a lot of ways harder, but fixed wing can be difficult depending on the airplane and its purpose. but I got my start working on helicopters, so they hold a special place in my heart. in the aircraft world, oddly enough, a lot of fixe wing and rotary wing pilots don't eat at the same table, lol!

I started liking them after I learned that if the engine fails it
doesn't necessarily mean that they fall out of the sky if high
enough. I watched a lot of "autorotation" videos and was amazed
at how they "flare" them to keep from crashing.
That's odd that the pilots don't like each other! o_O ttyl Aaron

Stick w/ multi engine/fixed. At least you know when an engine fails, the remaining engine will always get you to the crash site.:D
We've done the auto in the Hughes 500 my employer had. Lost a cooler belt, and ended up in a corn field in so IL.

Gotcha...We had a heli pilot in st paul that was spraying for mosquitos about 2 months
ago go down. He didn't have much altitude so we lost him in the crash. :( tk

still nothing from this loser. and still going through the paypal process.
the guinn family must be a whole family of dead beats
