Hello, I have a whirlpool gas drier and it has stoped getting hot. I don't have the money to purchase a new drier so I want to repair this one. Can anyone help me figure out why it does not get hot but it does turn. I know it can be the inginter, gas valve, thermal fuse but I don't know how to figure out what is broke. The drier model number is whirlpool LGR4634EQ3. thank for your help.

Dryers are pretty easy to take apart and find parts for. I would look at the thermostat

Sal,

Sometimes ya must think like its your car, make sure your getting fuel, no kinks in line, then make sure your getting spark then check to see it keeps it

if you got gas and igniter works but doesnt kick then thermostat? You could have that missing sock you forgot about last year down under it choking it

When I cleaned mine out The bottom of the lint trap was only a small part of what i really found, I pulled it apart and pulled gobs of lint that was choking it

Just an Idear... im not the maytag repair guy but not much to em really, while its apart grease up the idler wheels eh

Now back to the wings game!
