Gas milage

Just wondering what type of gas milage you guys are getting. Thanks for the feedback

~14 city. Don't drive hi-way, but it jumped to 17 last week when I included a 1 hour trip on the highway. I drive almost 100% stop-and-go and lucky to see better than 50mph.

A couple years ago, on a 90dF day, at 100% humidity, cruising almost too fast, I broke 30 MPG. Shortly there after I did another chip with 10* less timing, and a couple % richer, and it plummeted to 25 MPG, but I had a tic over 5 PSI more oil pressure. I then figured gas in cheaper then engines, so I backed the timing down even more, and just drive something else if I have to worry about MPG..

17-19 to and from work depending on how heavy my foot is for that tank. 22MPG if it's all highway miles.

20mpg has been my best with my current combo - 72# injectors, ported heads, 67 turbo.

That was on I95 in Florida (flat as hell) at a 70mph cruise from Daytona to Melbourne.

12.5 mpg lately. It was 16mpg city, but all of a sudden without any changes by me, it dropped. Can't figure out what it is. Interesting note: While driving on 18psi DR's and two trips to the track, I got 12.2 mpg. Barely worse than when I drive on 30+psi tires and NO boosting around town at all. I was expecting much worse.

Bruce, what was timing at that you were able to drop it by 10°?! And what did you eventually drop it to?
