Friday Night was a lot of fun.
Electra Jim was running the big car - he ran in the 12 teens.
Scott was running his Riv, the T is still under construction.
Emanual ran his T, he did great for his first time racing!
Jeff ran his GN, running some 12.30's.
Adam had his big car there - 71 Centurion 14.20's, it looks totally stock.
Tony ran the fastest time - 10.60 with his T, a very nice looking car.
Craig (me) ran my T, tuned down for the heat 14.20's.
Other club members were there watching: Rob Nolan, my Dad, D-Day, Chris Gosch, Bill Page, and Cliff Hughes (maybe a few more I missed).
As far as the supercharged/turbo showdown, Scott Keller got second place after waiting until after 1:00 am to run the final. A car oiled the entire track down around 11:00 pm. Scott won some cash and a trophy. I lost the quater final round to the eventually winner by .0306. We both ran exactly on our dail-in's. I had a .087 reaction time to his .054 reaction and that was the difference in the race.
Hopefully, we can do this again this season and get some more Buicks out. It was a good time.
