Hey guys, first off woo-hoo! I finally did it and bought a good truck. I got a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab 4x4 with the 6.6L Duramax TurboDiesel (this is the NEW Duramax engine...there's a really neat flash animation about it over at http://www.duramaxdiesel.com/01_features/index.htm on the right hand side click on the link that says "Click For An Interactive Duramax Demonstration."). Black of course to match the Buick and the GS-T Eclipse.

Problem, with the 2003 model they changed the way the A-pillar trim is shaped. It's really kind of weird. I'm looking for a gauge pod for this truck and I'm having a little trouble finding something that will fit it. I'll try and post some pictures later so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

Here is 5 different part #'s but they only come in Black. I bought the dual pod and run a boost and EGT gauge, a must when your running the "JUICE". I love that extra 90 horses 250 torque at a touch of a button. Here are those #'s

$17106 dual full pillar
#17107 triple full pillar
#15104 dual pod
#15105 single pod
#15007 steering colum pod single.

All these fit made by Autometer, try summit or jegs. Now that wasn't to hard:)

Yeah I've seen those but once again the A-pillar on the thing is different than it was on the 2002 model. I'll take some pics and post them tonight.

I have the #15104 on my 03 truck and have seen the #17106 on a 03 DM and it fit fine I went the cheaper route the full A pillar is like $80 with the speaker hole.

Ahh ok I seem them now. They weren't there last time I looked (of course that was before I even bought the truck).

So where did you put your EGT at in the exhaust? Also, where'd ya T in for boost? And what choo mean by juice? propane? or a on the fly ECM reprogram? Thanks!

Man that's a sweet setup. However, I think I'm just gonna go for the gauges at first. Maybe the chip setup later. I'm po. I have a turbo regal. :D

Thanks for the info!

i have a 01 2500hd with the duramax/allison just installed the predator computer up grade. set it on the 100 hp and 220 ft lbs. of tq.( it has 4 settings) and powerbraked at the line and ran a 14:83@88mph with a 1.99 60 ft. not bad for a 7000 lb. truck. even the 40 hp setting is great! killer towing and just plain fun!
