I'm trying to find some good gauge pods for my GN. I bought a double pod from www.gaugepods.com and a t-top pod. The t-top pod hangs down and blocks the rear veiw slightly. The pillar pod doesn't wrap well around the pillar post at the bottom and it hits the door panel. I could always re-shape it but I'm thinking I might want to run a triple instead. Will a triple fit in a t-top car?

I'm looking for a full pillar pod as opposed to a glue on. Let me know what pods you guys have found that are any good. Thanks!

IMO, the best fitting pillar pods are from Auto Meter.

The only replacement pillars are from Lotek, and they fit terribly - something which Lotek refuses to acknowledge or address through redesign. Rather, they are content to remain silent on the matter, sell these things, and line their pockets. No one else has seen fit, probably due to perceived low demand, to step up and take them on.

On T top pods, beats me...

:)

If you don't like the Lotek pod, maybe they will exchange it for a console pod. I got one from them. It's nothing special quality-wise but it fits and stays out of the way

the one in my car is from lotek, its a 3 gauge piller, and lotek is the only place you can get one with 3 gauges. I'm pretty happy with it, the fit is a little off but no one has ever said anyting about it before, and i don't notice it unless i'm cleaning it or looking at it. the only place that doesn't match up is up top where the piller molding ends, its too short by probably 1/4 of an inch, noticeable if you look, but it looks like the car might have came from the factory like that. just a little thing.

My dad just bought one for his car and took it back off because it fit so bad, i was out of town and didn't get to see it but i guess it was really bad.

i know they are made to ordery, they don't keep them in stock so each one will be a bit different, all i can say is give it a try, and go for the 3 gauge, its great havign gauges up where they belong.

I have the lotek triple in my car with t-tops and it fits horrible. If the previous owners hadn't cut a hole in the original a-pillar I'd be getting rid of the lotek pillar. Best idea I've seen is three gauges mounted on top of the radio pod. I don't have any problems with the t-tops gauge pod though, it fits nice in my car.

The problem with the t-top pod is if your 6'4" it hangs down almost half way in front of the rear veiw.
