someone thought this would be a good place to put gauges in my car before i got it... it's actually not that bad to see once you get used to it, and the boost gauge is the one all the way to the left so it's not hard to keep track of it... i don't really like the look, personally, so if you want i'd trade you the panel even up for a good unmolested one if you just pay shipping:

btw if you buy gauges check out the autometer sport comp 2 .. they look awesome. I have the boost gauge in my dmax and gn

That's a clean look I just can't picture myself looking that way unless it's a fine pair if legs ...... I like the pro comp ultra lites with gray back looks clean I imagine with the color scheme I'm going with

Are there gauge pods for mounting 2 gauges on the steering wheel column?

I eventually need to add some gauges

Bump. I have a t type with column shift so no center console, are there any new options for mounting gauges?

Certain brands of gauges i should consider?

I have boost but it doesnt do vacuum, i need an oil pressure and maybe temperature or fuel pressure.

The only gauge mount i have is a dual A pillar. But its shitty, do they make one for maroon interior lol

Hey chuck any pics of where u hooked up ur fuel and water gauges?
I am using the PTE turbo saver remote oil filter. I took the tee out of the block, drilled the hole that the stock turbo line went into. I tapped it for 1/8NPT, and screwed a 90* elbo in it. I put the Speed Hut sender there. They are very small compared to other senders.
The water temp is also a mod deal. I ditched the "S" hose, cut the nipple off the w/ pump, tapped it for a 1/4" plug. The intake end of the "S" hose is a screw in nipple. I took it out, used a 1/4 to 1/8 NPT reducer. The temp sender is in there. I drilled some 5/32" holes around the perimeter of the t stat, in place of the "S" hose.
The boost ga sender is in the rear face of the intake. I left the dash "boost ga", [a useless item], hooked up OEM.

I can shoot a couple pics of the other locations if needed.
In the "FWIW" dept: I plan on eliminating the top vac block, and running the needed sources off of fittings at the rear of the block.

I'm still looking for a nice 3 ga pillar pod! NE1?

I just bought a vdo oil pressure gauge kit from egauges, it has a warning light if pressure gets low.

Still would like to know of what options we have for mounting them when there's no center console.
