Gauges

Hey all,

I just purchased an oil gauge, boost gauge, and knock gauge with a 3 gauge pillar pods.

Are there write-ups on here somewhere that can tell me how to wire these up correctly? I don't want to hose anything up and I've been searching with no luck.

What brand?
Most ga mfgrs have on line instructions.
You did get the senders w/ them, correct?

I got vdo gauges from summit, did not get senders...

ok, got the oil sender and nylon tubing kit. did some youtube watching and found some walkthroughs on the net.

Don't use the nylon tubing for the oil pressure gauge. It breaks.

I was lucky many years ago when it broke, the engine was still cold. So was the oil that slowly (cold oil) sprayed out of the open end into the passenger compartment. If that oil was hot it would have been a lot worse. The gauge got plumbed with 3/16" copper line with a piece of flex line between it and the engine.

Thanks for the extra tip, I'll order the copper tubing for oil. Use the nylon for the boost gauge.
