gears

i was just wondering if anyone ever tried some lower gears in turbo ta's like 3.42 or 3.73. just curious.

3:42,s in my 12 bolt, only with a slightly taller tire

What is the stock ratio??? I figured it was a 342 gear like the TR's. But then again i am a newbie!

it's 3.23 or 3.27 im not sure which one

I replaced my stock gear with 3.73 and also swapped the tranny to a TH400. A little high rpms on highway, but nothing serious. When I took it to the track for the first time after buildup, I broke the posi in first attempt. I never took it to the track again as I sold it. The new owner has now ruined the engine

It is my experience that the car will slow down if you 3.73 gears in.
