i have an 84 with the general wheels and will probly be getting some kirban wheels this weekend for it. Im also going to get a set of prostars for the track. Are the general wheels worth hanging on to? theyre in great shape for how old they are. Just dont know if i wanna hang on to them if theyre not worth it.

I would CERTAINLY HOLD ON TO THEM, even though their total worth is about ~$600.00 because to replicate them you would get charged ~$75.00 per wheel for powder coating, and the American Racing Wheel replica's come in a grey finish, not black. Turbines look the best on our cars, but I just wish we could get them in 17's, I can't go back to the 15" era so I got some SLP ZR1's.

FWIT they are not the general wheels. They are the factory stock 7" wheels for the 84 Grand National. They will not fit a Dodge car.
They look like one of three different wheels that were used on the "General Lee". Granted these were the most seen/used wheels.

American Racing sold the rights to GM to make these wheels for the GN and T-Typr/Turbo T cars.
The old rims were called Vectors and were made with both stand lug patters for Ford/Dodge and another patter for GM cars. They were also made with the uni-lug patters that would fit GM/Ford/Dodge.

Gary:)
