However, I don't see "tawnic" on the list. I tried that stuff once and it tasted like cough medicine!!

When i went to college at University of Buffalo from my hometown just outside NYC (refer to chart), I had an issue with this very thing. In a restaurant I ordered "any type of soda".....I was brought soda water. Even more funny was my first experience at a Pizza shop there. At the counter I ordered "one large pie please". The girl behind the counter, with a very confused and sympathetic look on her face replied "oh, I'm sorry sir....we don't sell pies".

Just trying to figure out why someone would pay to have such a study done and what it's usefulness is. Must have been done with federal funds. lol.

Yep, in the short while I spent in New England I picked up the habit of saying soda.....my wife always gives me a hard time about it.

That's the "tonic" that I had mentioned earlier in the post.

I tried it once just out of curiousity and also because I hear it's a New England favorite. YECCCHHHH!

I told a friend that maybe I had gotten a bad can but he said no.....that's what it tastes like. The worst part is that I had another 5 cans left. It must be an acquired taste.


Now, Vernors.....that's good stuff!

C'mon - Moxie is a man's drink. My dad drinks it all the time.

I think he gave it to me as a kid for cough medicine - Robitussin tastes the same to me!!

Dumb question, I"ll post it on this thread anyone here still able to get Jolt Cola? They stopped selling it a while back around here, I need it dammit!

jolt was outlawed by the feds because of to much cafien or so ive herd (probably not reliable)

any one herd of rc cola? you can only find it in small country stores in the middle of no where. the stuff is great, tastes like flat coke.

jolt doesnt have that much caffeine at all, a can of redbull has more caffeine than jolt

and if any of you guys have had the New breed of energy sodas/colas/pop/coke whatever you want to call it you would would consider jolt weak

ARe they selling Rockstar/lost/US energy/monster around there?

A can of rock star gives me the shakes
