Men: Most of us have driven vehicles that had WAY to much horsepower or vehicles that could only go fast when pointed straight or vehicles that could not pass up a gas station. Here's the request. With today's technology and vendor's specialty products-----What would be the ultimate Buick Grand National buildup. Remember it has to be very drivable, handle very well (even when turning) and get good fuel economy when going on the long hauls. Let her rip! Limit budget to $5K and let's keep it the original G body.

GM already builds this car......... it's called a 2011 ZR1  (In black of course)

Oh, $5K. Cheap SLP ZR1 17x8 inch wheels with 245 45 up front and maybe 275 out back if they fit. Poly sway bar bushings. AlkyControl, TT alky chip, 60# injectors, hotwired 340 fuel pump, fuel filter, adj fuel pressure regulator, big mouth intake, ported stock turbo elbow, kirban 3" stock SS downpipe, test pipe, RJC 3" crossflow exhaust if budget allows. Preferably get used stuff and maybe score a bigger turbo and SLIC from those upgrading to the billet wheels.

get all the tooling out of storage and build the exact original car. Add antilock, 4-wheel vented disks, 3000 stall, and a scanmaster built into the dash.

that would do it for me.
