Exactly what century is the version of vBulletin from anyway? Isn't it time to upgrade it? It's not that hard. And those stock emoticons are like so 2001.

This forum is for suggestions, and I gave one. It may sound like criticism, but I call it constructive criticism. vBulletin came out with an outstanding version (Version 3.0.0) in the last month or so that looks great. Also, keeping an old version is not good for security reasons, and is open invitation to hackers. You guys upgrade your cars, so why not your software? It's easier, and less expensive.

Sorry if I sounded like I was putting the place down. Far from it. This is the best Turbo Buick board there ever was or will be, and I don't know what I'd do without it, even with this stock emoticon. :)

Interesting how I never got an answer on why there way no upgrade...

Now that I have got my "constructive criticism" out of the way.

I can answer you questions ....
The version of this vBulletin softwear is old , and we are upgrading to the new version soon , and those stock emoticon are lame (I totally agree) and are also looking forward to updating them too.

I did take your post as you were "putting the place down" ,
Now that you have clearfied your position with this site with the statment above ("Sorry if I sounded like I was putting the place down") , I am sorry for snapping at you.
