What would be the easiest way to get cooler air to the engine compartment instead of moving the air filter in front of the headlights? Thanks, Tim.

I have seen guys take a 4" flex hose from behind the grill, thru to behind the headlight, and into the engine compartment. I prefer my cheepie cold air setup, tho.

I'm on a SERIOUS budget. See my website link button below. I picked up three 3" rubber couplings from home depot(I removed a metal reinforcement piece), about 6" of 3" PVC and an air-cooled VW heater hose (donor car in the garage, it is just over 3" ID). In the pic, you can see two of the rubber couplings and the VW hose. Before I used the VW hose, I tried an aluminum flex duct, but didn't like the look. The VW hose wasn't quite long enough, so I needed the black PVC to get it all the way there and the third coupling. Then I used the original elbow with the temp sensor behind the headlight and the K&N clamped directly to the elbow.
