It is with a heavy heart that I have decided that it's time to get out. Other obligations have overwhelmed me and the Buicks are just sitting. So, I will be putting my 86 T-type and 86 GN for sale here shortly as well as on ebay. My parts hoard will also be on the block.

Since I've not sold a car in a long while, I wonder if there are any other resources where I can list my cars. I need them gone asap.

Do people still look at auto-trader anymore?

Does anyone have a suggestion where else I can list the cars in order to get maximum exposure?

Sorry to hear this.

There's always Craigslist, but then you have to deal with the crazies from, well, Craigslaist.

Me too. It's been a love affair since the very first time.

Craigslist might work for other cars but not for a TR. Way too many wacko's and weirdos. Lot's of tire kickers and people who just want to drive the car but have no money to buy...

I was hoping people might have some other options out there that I had not thought of. I've never sold a car on ebay but they do get good exposure. Not sure how many serious buyers there would be. It occurs to me that I might be able to get them into an auction but, all the big ones are far away. With the cost of transport and seller fees, it might eat up any value I have in the sale.

Other ideas?

I have sold a few turbobuicks using this site and autotrader, they always sold. Good luck.

goodguys has a magazine? And isn't goodguys mostly interested in the older stuff?

I've seen cars and parts listed for sale on RacingJunk.com

I don't know any details on what the requirements or costs are for their site but may be worth looking into. I've seen a lot of nice and high valued cars / trucks on there for sale, don't know why they would call the site RacingJunk lol.

Yes they have a magazine and yes 85% of it is on cars 72-older but they have started covering some of the newer stuff just this year and I subscribe to it and I'm only 35. The classifieds have all kinds of classics in it for sale and I've even seen some newer cars like post 2000s. Just tossing out ideas as its a few steps up from Craigslist lol

I sold 6 cars over the years on ebay and that is by far some of the best exposure you can get.
Although I bought that 86 roller from you on this site so don't under estimate the For Sale section.
