Ghost in the car?!?

A few days ago my friend was telling about his mother's car, A 98 to 01(He nor I know the year)Buick PA Ultra. He was telling me about this problem with all of the electronics in the car. Like the radio was turn on and off by its self and the other electronic things where just going crazy.
So I thought I would ask anyone here if they knew what was going on.
I think the problem is with the computer or a ground, but I'm a body tech not a mechanic.
Your input would be awesome.

Has to be a ground or some other bad connection. The hard part is locating it. I had a problem with my Cadillac where everything went nuts at random. It got worse and worse, throwing bizzare codes and ultimately wouldn't run anymore. The ground cable had worked itself loose from the frame and eventually just came off causing total failure.

Moisture also. It can get in relays and make temporary connections. To all those who said electronics, I agree.
