Here is a shortblock I have already built, the list of parts
-109 block
-forged .30 Trw pistons
-DLS ported iron heads (Comp B-hive springs for hyd roller, with titanium retainers)
-Cometic head gaskets
-ARP head bolts
-RJC girdled bottom end
-double roller timing chain
-solid roller 224/224 cam
-new chrome moly file fit rings
-oil pan
-front cover with water pump

-stock rods & crank 10/10
Asking $4,400. For a extra $250 I can through in a nice stock ported Champion lower intake. Shipping is extra
Will consider selling heads and intake separate for $1350

Just what I am looking for! Only problem is shipping. PM me with what you think it will be to a business address 35903. Hope we can work out a deal! I really do not need the heads but if someone does, lets get together and work a deal!

Please read above. These heads were purchased from DLS, They are Comp B-hive springs setup for hdy roller cam. If they look like stock springs you need a new monitor.

Great looking Engine Mike.

I'm kicking myself for not buying it when you offered it too me. some one is going to get a great mill....

Beehive springs look like a beehive...........hence the name "BEEHIVE" The springs on the heads pictured on the block of this thread are of conventional design.....Additionally, beehive springs do not have dual springs as pictured.

Thanks for the clarification Woody. They are a Comp inner and outter heavy duty spring for hydr roller.
