Girlfriend Helping on the GN yeah right.... Wait!

Well after the GN being down for more than a year for "Upgrades" (and being covered in a 1/4" of dust), I have a laundry list of them and new parts keep stacking up and my shop working time goes down... Well this weekend I was out in the shop working on my car trying to get it together to give some friends a ride that are coming to visit. To my surprise my girlfriend jumped in and did some work for me while I was wiring a custom engine harness for the MS3x, she completed the firewall block off plate and dynomat'd it along with painting the heat shield and some other parts in a high temp ceramic paint and went on to pulling the Power Master unit and swapping in the new vacuum brake setup I had sitting around.

Am I just a lucky guy or is this common place? I usually hear guys on here saying their GF/Wife is yelling because of their GN, not jumping in to help out... I guess she is just really looking forward to riding in the car with the new combo.... ;-) We celebrated all our hard work by taking the cam and header 6.0 LSx Monte Carlo SS out for a ride and tearing up on some Rustangs lol.

That's how I ended up with my wife. Some of the time she would sit to the side curled up in the bamboo chair reading a book, but other times would be like a little spider monkey doing all the things little arms and little hands are best for, and looking for more!

It's been a long time since then for us, but I'll never forget. We'll get back there soon enuf. I keep teasing her that I'm gonna work on her TA some more this summer, and that still gets her as far as the bamboo chair, but the TA hasn't been moved back to the main bay just yet.

I'd say that if it isn't common, men settle for other assets in a lady. Congratulation's, you've certainly found a lady worth having in my book!!!
