I have several of the GM Rearview Mirrors with Map Lights. These came on various GM vehicles from the mid 90's up. Easy install 3 wire hook up. When wired correctly operates via individual buttons on mirror, when door(s) open, and with dome light switch. One wire to 12v, One to GRD, and other to dome light signal lead from door pinswitch (white wire If I recall).
I have had one of these on my car for years and IMO it is a definate must for a Ttop car. The 2 lights at the rear of the passenger compartment just dont cut it. I have one in my 84 Suburban and probably going to add one to my '95 9C1 CapriceSS. Makes for a nice addition whether Ttop or not and looks like a factory option.
These are not new but are in very good condition and have been tested. No regrets
