I have someone who has a set of 87 Buick Regal Shop Manuals.
He actually has (4) books and says each was about $ 150 new since they are actual GM manuals.

He wants about $ 150 is this worth it ?

i have all of the manuals, and to be honest i use the haynes manual more, and the gnttype website and this site much more as well. its good to have if it comes with the car, but i dont think id spend 150 on it. i dont think manuals back then were as informative as they are now.....

The GM shop manual, sold by GM/Helm, was for ALL buicks, and it was HUMONGOUS! Most of us who got them sat down and weeded out all the stuff for the four cylinder engines, and the front wheel drives, until all that was left was the Regal info. That got rid of about 80% of the pile of paper. The CD, which as accessible on line, has just the turbo Regal stuff, I believe. (body manual is separate, and is still available for less than $50, I think)
