I'm a little surprised noone has posted any feedback on James Meyer AKA
GMV6TURBOPOWER from Connecticut. At first he didn't answer PM's or emails for weeks and people got suspicious. His friends on this board had to relay information to him about threads on this board. Then he had alot of excuses for delaying shipping to people, or not shipping at all in my case. (He had no access to a computer. I guess there aren't any in the whole state of Connecticut). He finally agreed to send me a refund via Paypal when he gets back online. "Give me a few days" he said. A week later nothing. I call again. More excuses about the computer. I gave him my info to send me a money order. He said I had "his word" that I'd have it within a week. 2 weeks later and here I am writing this.

I spoke to James again about a refund. He paid me back every penny through someone elses Paypal account. On the upside, James never tried to shift the blame and was a very nice guy to talk to. He has been a board member here for some time and never had complaints until lately. I am inclined to believe his personal problems have overwhelmed him and I hope this is an isolated incident. I wish you well James.

Like most everybody else on this message board James has a regular job, a family, his personal race cars, a household to run, a 7500 square foot storage to pay for and parting out and selling 84-87 GN's / t-ypes and a few other types of cars so he can provide us with parts to keep our cars going. I personally bought parts from him and havent had a problem yet. He is local and getting parts right away is a asset to our community as well as to the buick message board community......Dave dsmith4994@aol.com

Well, see, there you go. that's what he's doing wrong. He's doing this as a community service to provide us with parts to keep our cars going,,,,,,,, where most people do it for money. And who says there aren't any nice guys left?
