yep... a $1000 is a steep price you you are saving one from a junk yard and buying an engagement ring, going to school full time, and paying rent and bills.
Give me a few years and see what I can do, but here is a hint. 11.99 is all the faster the TTA will ever go so I dont get booted off National Trails raceway for not having a cage. I will start with something else that most likely will not have a Turbo Buick motor in it to start with. Will it end up with one? Depends on how good I get with tuning the TTA, but I am already quite well versed with the TPI's.. So who knows, but I will gurantee it will be a Pontiac, and most likey a thriedgen Trans Am.
