Can anyone here give a name of any turbo places in Houston TX. Would like to buy a turbo or get mine refurbished.

Look through the vendors on this site, better to get one from them....the support these guys have is worth the price.

THere is a place on 290 but the cost is outrageous to get it rebuilt. Cheaper to get one from the BUICK vendors. I Have a TE44 with less than 1500 miles I will need to unload in a few weeks. If you are interested. I am in Spring.

I'm shipping mine to gpop shop to be rebuilt. 350 for standard build and 450 for heavy duty build.

Also, I'm selling it when I get it back as I have already replaced it. Had a bad seal. Will be new when done. GT 6131

What size is it? Any shaft play?

TUrbo is near perfect, very little to none shaft play. I think that is normal. Awesome street turbo, works really well with my billet 2800 converter. THe only reason for me selling it is because I put the car for sale and re-install the stock turbo. Let me know if you are still interested. If not sold, I amy keep it for my next car because it is a great street turbo.
