GN1 Alum head updates/

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the latest GN1 alum heads. I'm talking about cracking, smoking etc. This would be for the 14 bolt heads on a 109 block. Interested in purchasing a set but just need input on them from the Buick racers. Thanks!

Hi Gilbert,

I don't have a set yet , but I have been in touch with Neal Stewart of Brutal 6 Racing who has had a set on his stage II for 6 months now. Per Neal, he has had problems in the past with GN1(s), but apparetnly is pretty pleased with the recent design change. I think Neal said that the stamping of the Gn1 logo was moved to the end of the head rather then dead in the middle.

I think he has his car running low ten(s), with no problems with the heads. Neal, jump in here if I got something off.

Thanks James! You need to put that big turbo on and rip some mid/low 10's. Gilbert
