Gn1, And Exhaust Valve Guides

I am almost ready to finish assembling my stg II , and I am using GN1'S , My question is should the exhaust guides be replaced with some better ones and if yes , would it be best to send them to maybe PTE , someone that works with these heads and has the experience on them, or possibly someone close to Florida, ie Cal Hartline , or Harper racing ,, TIA

Bill Anderson and do yourself a favor and replace those klines with good bronze guide. Ive had nothing but problems with those klines. My buddy bought a new set of GN 1 heads, took them to the shop and there was .003 taper right out of the box Some guys have no problems but ive had no luck at all..... The hot ticket is shortend high quality bronze just like Bill Anderson does
