First of all I don't know what others are writing off but I donated quite a few things and I am not writing off anything.... I am sure some things are but this is business and how people make a living. Even if you do write it off it isn't a 100% write off. Even if Brian does write off some parts how do you explain the COUNTLESS HOURS he personally put in. HUNDREDS, I am sure. Daniel is another perfect example. I don't care what he might write off but I happen to know just some of the time he has put into this car. Hell he drove up here twice. How about J Banning and Charlie, all the hours they put in personally, can't write that off. They did it because they wanted to help Brian and the KIDS, again the whole point! Mike and his wife donated PERSONALLY not through Full Throttle. Peter Ricks flew out and help with the car while he was here, even donated a turbo. I could continue on for days about that.

I would like to apologize for starting this thread! I have recieved a few threating PM's from some folks on here, I take them with a grain of salt. The majority of the parts I have put on my car came from Brian at G-body. I will always continue to give him business. He has offered to tune my car for practicaly nothing, He has talked to me on the phone for several minutes helping me chase down issues. I would have never thought that from such a small handfull of TR owners we would act like this. When I return to this site, I will only read to learn, not to post negative statements.

dont think for one minute that the supporting vendors are not selling foreign parts. how do you think you make a profit in the us. and dont tell me everyone here doesnt buy at walmart there products are all foreign

This was a very professional thread...... uhhmmmm I'm going to chime in with first hand knowledge and the truth, some parts are made in the us some are china copies, you are given a choice by most vendors, If you ask Brian for US made parts you get US made parts, I have spent thousands of $$ with him and have never been lied to never !

It always baffels me that people think business should not make money or they "know" how much they should be making or whatever Bullsheet!! till you own a business you have no idea, who pays and how much it really costs, for the property, the building, the employees, phones, internet , advertising tools, equipment and so on its staggering. I would bet my ass If Brian could make a living and be able to sell parts for less he would but you just can't !!!

I work at a GM dealer parts are maked up almost 100% why !! well there the driver who went to pick them up, the parts guy who put them on the shelf , the lady who anwsered the phone when you called in, the nice building you came to pick them up at with the lights on!!, the guy at the counter who pulls your order up ,the cashier you pay on the way out. again How in the FUKC do people expect a business to function without profit??? Oh and 90% of the parts you buy directly from GM are made in japan china or mexico I almost cracked up last week buying parts for my regal gs ..maf sensor, seat motor, new carpet, window switch non of it made in the US.

I bought a front mount intercooler kit from Archie a couple of years ago. UPS dropped the box and dented the tank even though it was packaged very well. Before he even got the damaged unit back, I had a replacement in my hands. The intercooler has performed perfectly for a couple of years now, even at 30psi! I would not hesitate to buy from him again.

I learned my leasson, and I know where I'm NOT spending my money anymore. No need to go into it, it's lesson we all learn, and the smart thing to do is reply with your wallet. These things have a tendency to take care of themselves....eventually

In my mind Buick guys have always exemplified class and respect. I don't know who is right and who is wrong here, but good lord I have never seen anything like this in my life...

From what I see, Archie sells some pretty nice stuff at a good price. Brian does also. They are both probably made in China it appears...Brian is a vendor for this site, and while it does help him make his money, this site wouldn't be here if we ran all the vendors off.

I work retail and I know customers can be outstandingly horrible to deal with, but I also know that the business can sometimes alienate the customers...

In conclusion, deal with whoever you choose, and let that be the end of it.
